Roy's forty-five years of experience includes business ownerships, information security management, environmental management, plant operations management, systems integration, strategic planning, systems design and installation, consulting, project management, P&L analysis, training, certification auditing, and problem resolution in the service, manufacturing, public service, and information security industries.

Roy is a RABQSA Certified Skill Examiner, as well as, a RABQSA and IRCA certified QMS Lead Auditor and IRCA certified ISMS auditor. In addition, he is a highly acclaimed trainer for RABQSA accredited Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor courses.

His auditing expertise includes third party certification audits for five registrars, baseline assessments (gap analysis), internal audits, external audits, and compliance audits. He has worked with 875+ organizations on some phase of the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 implementation process and has working relationships with fifteen registrars.

Businesses have benefited greatly from his skills in creating highly successful quality, information security and integrated management systems and internal auditing processes that contribute heavily to the bottom line, job classification programs, quality and integrated system manuals, flow charts, and procedures. He is frequently published in journals and newsletters and speaks at many meetings on ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.

Roy has taught over 890 open enrollment and on-site ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, executive/management awareness, overview, implementation, documentation, internal auditing, mini-auditing, registrar selection, transition, and return on quality workshops/courses.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and served as a US Army officer in Vietnam. He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the American Society for Quality.

Roy co-chaired the Steering Committee that established the SW Virginia ISO 9000 Users Group. He was a presenter at the opening session of the 1995 ASQC national convention and is listed in the 1996-97 Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals and the 1998 International Who’s Who in Entrepreneurs.
