ISO/TS 16949

  • Merged QS-9000, AVSQ, EAQF, VDA
  • Created by International Automotive Task Force
  • Edition 1 issued as ISO Technical Specification in 3/99
  • Goal of one registration accepted by Europe and US
  • ISO/TS 16949:2002 was aligned with ISO 9001:2000
  • ISO/TS 16949:2002 replaced QS-9000 on 12/15/06
  • ISO/TS 16949:2009 was aligned with ISO 9001:2008
  • ISO/TS 16949:2009 replaced ISO/TS 16949:2002 on 06/15/09
