Description This course details Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Design Verification Planning. This is an instructional course and geared towards Engineering and Quality Professionals. The content is consistent with the guidelines in the APQP 2nd Edition, FMEA 4th Edition, and PPAP 4th Edition manuals. Learning Objectives This course goes in depth into each of the components of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Design Verification Planning. Course Materials Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials. Audience The course is intended for Design Engineers, Program Managers, Product Mangers, Quality Managers, QMS Auditors, APQP Team Members, PPAP Coordinators, and QMS Management Representatives. Prerequisites A working knowledge of your Product Development Process Duration The course is taught as a one day class. Class Hours Day 1: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM CEUs The student certificates display 0.8 Continuing Education Units.
