Description
Understanding ISO 9001:2000 provides a general understanding of the concepts of the ISO 9000 series of standards and how the requirements impact the day-to-day operations of organizations in any industry. An experienced instructor explains the clauses of ISO 9001:2000 in detail, providing a base for understanding the Quality Management Principles. Students learn by participating in group exercises and in-depth discussions. Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials, including copies of ISO 9000:2000, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 9004:2000.

Audience
This course is intended for anyone requiring
a working knowledge and understanding of the ISO 9000 series of standards.
More specifically, quality managers, engineers, supervisors, foremen,
technicians, ISO coordinators, ISO management representatives, presidents, vice-presidents,
quality professionals, and consultants.
Prerequisite
Understanding ISO 9001:2000 is an introductory course designed for
individuals with little or no previous knowledge of ISO 9000 and
quality management systems.
Duration
The course is taught as a one-day class from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
CEUs
The student certificates display 0.7 continuing education
units for the class.
