Description This course explains the linkages between various aspects of the APQP process. The linkages include the development and linkage of Process Flows, PFMEAs, and Control Plans. This course demonstrates how these linkages can be used to achieve process standardization and improvement. The content is consistent with the guidelines in the APQP 2nd Edition, FMEA 4th Edition, and PPAP 4th Edition manuals. Learning Objectives This course goes in depth into each of the components of the Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis Worksheet. By the end of the day, participants will know how to develop a PFMEA. After this training, the participants will have knowledge and understanding of:
Course Materials Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials. Audience The course is intended for Process Engineers, Program Managers, Quality Managers/Engineers/Specialists, QMS Auditors, APQP Team Members, PPAP Coordinators, and QMS Management Representatives. Prerequisites The only course prerequisite is basic math skills. Duration The course is taught as a one day class. Class Hours Day 1: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM CEUs The student certificates display 0.8 Continuing Education Units.
