Description This course provides a detailed examination of the required deliverables of APQP for your automotive customer. The purpose of PPAP is to determine if the customer engineering, design record, and specification requirements, are properly understood; and that the production process has the potential to meet these requirements during an actual production run at the quoted production rate. This course is consistent with the AIAG - DCX, Ford, GM Manual PPAP, 4th edition. Learning Objectives Understand your automotive customers’ PPAP requirements, as well as, learning the linkage between the Core Tools and ISO/TS16949:2002. After this training, the participants will have knowledge and understanding of:
Course Materials Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials. Audience The course is intended for Design Engineers, Program Managers, Product Mangers, Quality Managers, QMS Auditors, APQP Team Members, PPAP Coordinators, Supplier Quality Engineers, and QMS Management Representatives. Prerequisites A working knowledge of your Quality Management System, as well as, your Customers’ requirements. Duration The course is taught as a one day class. Class Hours Day 1: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM CEUs The student certificates display 0.8 Continuing Education Units. Fee The fee for the one day on-site course is $1500, plus $25 per student, plus instructor travel expenses. The class size should be at least 4 students and no more than 20 students.
