Description This course emphasizes the importance of SPC in controlling and improving the production process and provides a non-invasive learning approach for using statistical methods in analyzing production processes. This course is consistent with the AIAG - DCX, Ford, GM Manual - Statistical Process Control, 2nd edition. Learning Objectives Understand the identification of basic statistical tools and the role that SPC plays in the overall Control Strategy of your organization. Course Materials Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials. Audience The course is intended for Quality Managers, QMS Auditors, APQP Team Members, PPAP Coordinators, Supplier Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, Quality Specialists, and QMS Management Representatives. Prerequisites The only course prerequisite is basic math skills. Duration The course is taught as a one day class. Class Hours Day 1: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM CEUs The student certificates display 0.8 Continuing Education Units. Fee The fee for the one day on-site course is $1500, plus $25 per student, plus instructor travel expenses. The class size should be at least 4 students and no more than 20 students.
