Auditor Refresher for RAB Certified Auditors

In our last newsletter, we noted that the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) will require that certified auditors receive transitional training on the new ISO 9001:2000 standard to maintain their certification.

Our new Auditor Refresher course has been submitted to the RAB for pre-approval as transition training for ISO 9001:2000. The first class will be offered in Atlanta on November 20-21, 2000.

See our previous newsletter for more information on the RAB requirements.

For more information, see the planned ISO 9001:2000 Transition button on the RAB home page: http://www.rabnet.com

By the way, the IRCA auditor certification body in England, through which many US auditors are certified, will require auditors to also attend a 14 hour transition training course. Both the RAB and IRCA require the training to be based on the FDIS or IS level of ISO 9001:2000. For more information about the IRCA requirements, see their web site athttp://www.irca.org.
