Schedule of RAB-Approved ISO 9001:2000 Transition Classes

Our Auditor Refresher for ISO 9001:2000 was one of the first courses approved by the RAB for the required transition training for certified auditors and lead auditors. However, the course is also valuable for trained internal auditors wanting to understand the new ISO 9001:2000 requirements and recognize how their audit methods may be affected.

Our first public class was held in Atlanta, Georgia on November 20-21. We had limited the class to 25 students and they all said they would recommend the course to others. In fact, the overall course exceeded almost everyone’s expectations (4.7 out of 5.0 rating), and that from an experienced group of certified auditors!

The instructor was rated a 4.9 out of 5.0 on his knowledge and presentation skills. Some of the student comments were:

  • clear interpretation of the new requirements
  • instructor was extremely knowledgeable
  • clear, concise description of differences between standards
  • other ISO workshops were boring – this was a great class
  • instructor was excellent – wish I could take all my courses from him

A certified auditor in our first on-site course stated: “Your class was just excellent. I have been to quite a few in the last 10 years, so am in a position to say that it really stood out in terms of being well thought out, factual, concise, yet entertaining. I particularly liked how you engaged the group fully even though there was such a mix of experience in there. It takes a rare trainer to do that! You really impressed me, which is not an easy thing to do.”

The Auditor Refresher course will be taught next year in Atlanta on:

  • January 18-19, 2001
  • March 5-6, 2001
  • June 4-5, 2001
