Rick Randall


Rick Randall is an acclaimed author, management consultant, and certified quality management system auditor.

Rick was the author of “Randall’s Practical Guide to ISO 9000″. He has been a Consulting Editor, as well as, a contributor to several other books. He serves as a member of the NCSLI TQM “Committee for Calibration Services” – ANSI 174 Writing Committee (ASC Z540), responsible for the ANSI/NCSL series of standards.

Rick is a Probitas Authentication certified “Aerospace Auditor” (# 1619032756). He has expertise in the areas of Manufacturing, Electronics, Test Houses, Process Industries, and Service Industries.

Rick has performed over 2000 quality management system audits for registrars such as NQA-USA, ABS Quality Evaluations, Platinum Registration, Smithers Quality Assessments, STR-R/UL, VCA North America, and Intertek. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Rick was formerly the SE Regional Director for National Quality Assurance (NQA), one of the world’s largest and most successful registrars. He was also the past National Quality Manager for twenty GE Electronic Services calibration and repair centers, and Quality Director for Intertek Labtest and for Intertek Consumer Goods.

Utilizing his experience in the metrology (calibration) industry, Rick has also performed ISO 17025 Calibration Laboratory Accreditation audits for A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) and ACLASS/ANAB (Assured Calibration Laboratory Accreditation Select Services).
