Marcia Burrey

As a Senior Safety and Environmental Engineer, Marcia has consulted with over 80 facilities, including automobile manufacturing, auto parts suppliers, trucking industry, food industry, foundries, and medical facilities. She has created many compliance policies and procedures.

Marcia has developed ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems from initiation to certification at several manufacturing plants. She has conducted evaluation of compliance audits for environmental and safety systems, abated OSHA inspection findings, and reduced fines by over half at several sites.

Prior to her consulting career, Marcia was the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at F & P America Manufacturing. She managed all their activities involving environmental, health, medical, safety, ergonomics, and fire for a plant of 700 associates.

Previously, Marcia was the Senior Environmental Safety and Health Engineer at Whirlpool Greenville Kitchen Aide. She led all their activities dealing with fire, medical, safety, environmental, waste water treatment, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and security for the plant of 800 associates.

For 15 years, Marcia was the Plant Leader for all activities related to environmental, health, and safety at the Honda Marysville Motorcycle plant consisting of 1500 associates.

Marcia has broad technical knowledge in the areas of regulatory compliance, behavior-based safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and “return to work” programs.
