Integrated 9001-14001-18001 Internal Auditing

Description

This on-site Internal Auditor course explains the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 (Quality), ISO 14001:2004 (Environment), and OHSAS 18001 (Safety) standards and conveys the principles and practices of effective auditing.

On Day 1 and Day 2, the requirements are covered in the ISO 9001 clause sequence, with the related ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements included at the applicable places. The source of each requirement is indicated by a Q (quality), E (environment), and/or S (safety).

Class exercises at the end of each major section help to reinforce application of the requirements. Learning the requirements in an integrated fashion reduces the time needed to cover them and can help an organization understand how to develop an integrated management system.

On Day 3, the concepts, methods, and techniques in the ISO 19011:2002 Auditing Guidelines standard are covered. Exercises on checklists, interviews, and writing nonconformities are included to prepare students to carry out efficient and effective internal audits.
